The Workshop, organized through the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation with the collaboration of UNICEF, IOM and many other organizations, focused on awareness raising on sanitation policies and the presentation of the WASH situation in states and administrative areas. Present was the Minister of of Water Resources and Irrigation and the Chief of the WASH department for UNICEF. The workshop also commemorated “World Toilet Day” to stress the importance of hygienic defecation in developing countries.
